The Kamzík Hill and the TV tower on it are visible from almost each corner in Bratislava, since the TV tower is the highest spot of the town. The Kamzík Hill and Koliba, which is right under the peak, are two of the favorite weekend destinations for people from Bratislava.
The mountain and its forest offer several routes both for hikers and bikers. What’s more, you can’t stay hungry here after all the activity. There are some stands around offering classic Slovak fast food and drinks: hot-dog, lángoš, tasty beer and the Slovak version of coke, Kofola :).
However, if you would like to crown your day, you should visit the Altitude Restaurant right in the TV tower. After hiking, the brasserie will probably be the best place to eat. It offers an astonishing view of the town and even of the neighboring countries as well as tasty food for a good price. If you decide to skip the hiking part and dine while enjoying the “Bratislava at night” view, then the restaurant part can be part of your plans.
The restaurant is a bit more pricy than the brasserie, but the choice is wider, so it is worth trying. Kamzík is the best place to enjoy nature in Bratislava.
