Haluzická Gulley is not a typical gorge where you will find crowds of enthusiastic tourists. This mysterious gulley is less known, yet hides incredible natural wealth.
Some will also know it under the names Prierva or Haluzický výmoľ. It is a natural monument near the village of Haluzice. It was created by the erosive activity of the Haluzický stream.
When you come here in the summer, you will feel like you are in the middle of the rainforest with a finger snap. The gulley is interwoven with lush greenery, constantly expanding and deepening.
The canyon now has a length of 1 km, a depth of 50 m and a width of 200 m. At first glance, it seems harmless, but in reality Haluzická Gulley is a demonstration of river piracy. Within a few centuries, the gully was still relatively short. Erosion deepened and extended backwards.
If you are looking for a location that is extremely harmonious, has a magical and relaxing atmosphere, believe that Haluzická tiesňava is the right place.
The entrance to the gorge can also be reached by car, as it is located directly on the outskirts of the village of Haluzice. However, we recommend coming out here on foot. After all, every single step you take will be accompanied by an educational trail.
And if the gulley itself is not enough for you, you can also visit the nearby romantic ruins of the Haluzice church, which is currently very popular especially with the upcoming brides.
