Kostel Nanebevzetí panny Marie - Přeštice

Extremely important monument and landmark of the city landscape. It is the largest baroque church built in the Czech Republic outside of Prague. It was built in the years 1750 - 1775 according to the plans of the most important Baroque architect KI Dientzenhofer. On the main altar of the church is a painting of the Virgin Mary, which was recognized in 1711 by the Church as miraculous. Now hundreds of thousands of pilgrimage procession to this image was the reason for the construction of new large pilgrimage church.

Baroque Church of the Assumption in 2008 by a government declared a national monument.
