The late Gothic Church of the Virgin Mary Assumption was built in 1517-1548. For many centuries, it was situated in the place where an early Gothic basilica stood.
St. George's Basilica originated as the second church at Prague Castle. Only the foundations of the building, founded about 920 by Prince Vratislav I have been preserved.
The Old-New Synagogue is the oldest site of Prague’s Jewish Town and the oldest extant synagogue in Europe. It has been the main synagogue of the Prague Jewish community for more than 700 years.
