The town of Gluszyca is situated on the route from Wałbrzych to Kłodzko via Nowa Ruda, in the vast and picturesque mountain valley over the Bystrzyca river, surrounded by the Wałbrzyskie and the Suche Mountains, as well as the oldest range in the Sudety - the Sowie Mountains.
