Lodz Zoo offers visitors to see around 3,000 kinds of animals. Of which, 80 species of mammals in 470 pieces, 137 species of birds in 530 pieces, 210 of reptiles in 56 species, 16 species of amphibians in the number of 280 and 1,200 kinds of fish. Zoo Lodz belong to international organizations, European Association of Zoos and Aquaria and the World Organization of Zoos and Aquariums. Lodz Zoo has prepared entertainment for the youngest in the form of a mini petting zoo. There children can pet or try to feed dwarf goats, rabbits and sheep. There are also regularly held demonstrations animal feed.
