Rosice Castle was built between 1570–1579 as a typical Renaissance building with an arcade courtyard, replacing the original medieval seat from the 13th century. The governing Dynasty of the Žerotíns, who acquired Rosice in 1562, rebuilt it to its current look. Despite subsequent alterations a significant number of Renaissance features remain in the castle. Next to the dominating arcades there are vaults on the ground and the first floors, stone parts of porches and columns.
A vast park garden belonging to the castle is pleasant for walks in any season. The garden is also a sought after place and location for different kinds of entertainment and cultural activities in particular for children and young people. During the first republic a first outdoor classroom under the sky Žerotín's Nature School was built here together with a dance floor with seating and bandstand for entertainers. Wedding ceremonies held under the sky are vely popular.
