Location
The park of miniatures is located on the west of Slovak Republic, in Trenčín county, district Nové Mesto nad Vahom. Located in the center of the complex Podolí elementary school, on the way Vrbové - Nové Mesto nad Váhom. The path leads below the eastern foothills of the Little Carpathians, in the shadow of the Velký Plešivec summit. In sight of the area is a fabulous Čahtický castle, infamous thanks to the Elizabeth Bathory.
Exposition
In the Park of miniatures are placed models in scale 1:25 and 1:50. On a larger scale are modelled rare objects such as churches and small objects. These include churches in Klížské Hradiště and Lančár, wooden churches in Lukove-Venecia, Inovoch, Topoli a Kalnom Roztoke. Krupinska vartovka is also modelled in this scale.
All castle models are 1:50 scale.
The advantage of models is that the visitor can see the full beauty of the "Falcon of view" of the architecture. Visitors see all sides so you can fully enjoy the diversity, robustness and beauty of buildings. In reality, You will not see many of them, as they are in woods or overgrown bushes.
History
Miniature park - Matúšovo království (Matthew kingdom) in Podolí village was founded in 2003. Matthew kingdom obtained the neccessary land from Podolí village, near elementary school. The land was deforested and essential terraforming was made, followed by fencing and construction of the first model - castle Branč. This was supported by the European Union. In October 2003, the park of miniatures has baptized the first model, and the accompanying program organized fencing group Diadém z Martina (Tiara of Martin).
In 2004, the park started up slowly, and began to build a comprehensive model Holičský castle - the core of park of miniatures. This was supported by the European Union. On the other hand, from its own resources, the park built small models of Živánské towers, Krupinské vartovky, and Jelšavský castle.
In 2005 continued the work on the completion of a Holičský Castle - large water moats. The work has also started on the model of Šivetický castle.
